This 8-week container is for new, emerging, and seasoned DJs who are ready to deepen their skills, sharpen their creative identity, and perform with confidence. Whether you're touching the decks for the first time or returning to your craft with fresh intention, you'll receive personalized guidance from two working artists. We customize your journey to meet you where you are technically, creatively, and energetically.

Finally, test your equipment to prevent technical issues.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all class,it’s a creative mentorship designed to help you unlock your unique sound, learn the gear, and step into your power. We’ll teach you the technical skills and guide you toward performing a full, intentional set at our graduation showcase.

This is a selective container (5-6 students), not because we want to keep people out but because we’re deeply intentional about who we pour into.

THE BREAKDOWN (8 WEEKS)
WEEK 1 - intention & skill assessment
We’ll start by getting to know your goals, creative style, and current level. You’ll get hands-on with the gear, and we’ll assess where you’re starting from so we can customize your sessions from there. No pressure -just clarity, curiosity, and support.
week 2 - gear, beatmatching & cueing
You’ll dive into the core functions of DJ gear and begin manual beatmatching. We’ll cover cueing, tempo control, and loading tracks, laying the foundation for smooth, intentional transitions.
week 3 - crate building & music discovery
You’ll start digging and organizing music in a way that supports your sound and storytelling. We’ll show you where to find tracks, how to organize your library, and how to start shaping your unique vibe.
WEEK 4 - mixing techniques & transitions
Now that you’ve built your crate and learned the basics, we’ll teach you how to blend tracks using EQ, filters, and phrasing. You’ll learn different transition styles and practice getting into a real flow.
week 5 - set building & storytelling
Time to craft your 20–30 minute set. You’ll organize your tracklist, refine transitions, and build a set that tells a story. We’ll also touch on naming your set, performance mindset, and creative identity.
week 6 - full set rehearsal + OPEN DECKS
Run through your full set with your cohort and get detailed feedback. Adjust transitions, energy flow, and performance pacing. Students will see each other’s styles
WEEK 7 - polish + creative identity
Refine your set, artist name, and set branding (optional). Practice final tweaks and set intention for the showcase.
week 8 - graduation showcase
Perform or record your full set in a private or public setting. Celebrate your growth. Walk away with a new skillset, recorded set + celebration of your growth.

We’ve designed this container to be immersive, supportive, and transformational. Your investment covers 8 weeks of in-person mentorship, hands-on gear access, a filmed graduation showcase, and guidance from two working DJs, technical and creative.

We’re offering one $500 scholarship to a student who’s committed to the program but needs financial support to access it.

Nope! We provide access to professional gear during your sessions. If you do have gear, we’ll help you get more comfortable with it too.

Absolutely. This container is designed for beginners and even working DJs. We meet you where you’re at and build from there.

That’s great too! We’ll assess your level in Week 1 and tailor the container to help you refine your skills, strengthen your transitions, and build a more intentional set.

All sessions, including your 1:1s and group meetup will be held at our private creative studio on O‘ahu. This is a space we’ve built for our work. The exact location will be shared upon acceptance into the program.

You’ll have 1 private session per week (90 minutes) plus some light practice or music discovery in between. We also have one group meetup mid-program and a final showcase performance. We do recommend practicing outside of the container.

You’ll perform a 30 minute set that you’ve built over the course of the container at an external venue. It will be recorded and can be private or public depending on your comfort level. It’s a celebration of your growth.

Yes. We offer a 2-part payment plan: $750 at registration and $750 before Week 4. If you need a different plan, let us know.
